The GIS-87 professional shear set pairs a 6-inch hair cutting scissor with a matching 6-inch thinning scissor for barber and salon cutting, blending and reducing hair bulk. Choose your preferred finish. Each set features adjustable screw tension, black finger inserts, finger rests and rubber silencers.

Thinning and blending

The thinning shears are designed to reduce hair bulk and blend transitions. Tooth count does not equal the percentage of hair removed; results vary with tooth design, hair section and technique. Use gradually and check the result between passes.

Use for hair only. Wipe clean and dry after use, keep the pivot lightly lubricated and adjust tension carefully. Store in the pouch and protect the cutting edges. Have the scissors serviced by a qualified professional as needed.
